Anirado (Strain Review)

  • Breeder: Benson Arbor
  • Lineage: Animism 6 x Sour Rado
  • Grown by: Benson Arbor
  • THC: 24.5%  CBD: .07%

This cannabis flower was purchased from Old School Bliss in Springfield, OR in late June 2022

What we know: There’s a few pages that mention the strain, but nothing about the effects. The dispensary had it labeled as an indica.

First Dose: Small dose (.040g smoked in a glass pipe – about one medium hit, held in for 5 seconds)
After a couple minutes I get a little full-body relaxation and my brain slows down. A yawn escapes me. Ten minutes in and I’m mellow and loosey-goosey, everything looks a bit fuzzy. I’m enjoying myself working on the computer, still have some focus but definitely moving slower. I end up watching some TV which is great. I lose track of time. Checking in at 40 minutes I’m pretty much in heaven just leaned back in the couch watching some mellow TV. I end up passing out in the next 30 minutes.

Final Thoughts: This was quite enjoyable, pretty heavy physical and mental relaxation with an active mind. You won’t really want to move around too much. Good for a little TV watching or internetting before bedtime. Beginner-friendly.

    1. I don’t know about the terpene profile. It makes you feel physically and mentally relaxed but doesn’t really scramble the head. I think it could be generally good for stress and insomnia, though it’s not a knock-you-out strain. It also could help with muscle tension and ease physical pain.
