Lemon G Monster Cookies (Strain Review)

This cannabis flower was purchased from New Millennium dispensary in Eugene, OR in early-April 2020.

What we know:  There’s a couple links out there which point toward a balanced hybrid imparting a happy, uplifting, and relaxed mindstate. One of the parents, Lemon G, is a beloved strain that originated in Ohio known for uplifting effects.

First Dose: Small dose (.04g smoked in a glass pipe – about one solid hit, held in for 5 seconds)
The effects come on gently as a buzziness fills the head and body. At the 10 minute mark, things are intensifying as my whole body gets very buzzy. I’m very aware of my mouth and lower jaw area. My brain de-focuses and relaxes. I get the urge to work on a crafting project, which I am happy doing. Until I accidentally get super-glue on my fingers. Whoops. At 25 mins I’m feeling pretty damn good. Overall body has a nice buzz, gently uplifted in the head and overall anxiety levels are down. I’m quite mellow. I step outside and enjoy the feeling of the sun on my skin and the sounds of the birds and nearby traffic. I close my eyes for a few seconds and enjoy a moment of zen.

I go back inside and resume my crafting and I’m nicely zoned in. Feeling nice and mellow and can still focus on my tasks. Things calm down at the hour mark. Mild mellow vibes continue for another 30 minutes or so. I didn’t get tired on the comedown.

Final thoughts: I really enjoyed this strain. Overall it puts you in a nice place where you’re calm and uplifted, perfect for an afternoon break or working on simple tasks.
